City’s Mobile Office heading to Masiphumelele and Richwood
28 May 2026
The City of Cape Town’s Mobile Office is heading to Masiphumelele and Richwood next week to bring essential municipal services directly to residents' doorsteps. The mobile office will be at the Masiphumelele Community Hall, on Thursday, 4 June 2026 and at the Richwood Sport and Recreation Centre on Friday, 5 June 2026. Residents are encouraged to skip the commute and visit the Mobile Office to resolve account queries and access City services.
The details are as follows:
Thursday, 4 June 2026 from 09:30 to 13:30 at the Masiphumelele Community Hall, 1 Myeza Road, Masiphumelele
Friday, 5 June 2026 from 09:30 to 13:30 at the Richwood Sport and Recreation Centre, Richwood Avenue, Richwood
The City’s Customer Relations Department’s mobile team will assist residents with logging queries and service requests electronically.
‘These mobile office visits bring essential municipal support to residents' doorsteps. This is a great opportunity for residents to resolve their non-emergency enquiries; including rates, water, electricity and refuse accounts in the comfort of their own neighbourhoods. Masiphumelele and Richwood communities, please consider this your invitation. To ensure a seamless experience, we encourage residents to bring along their IDs or municipal accounts to ensure our teams can assist them with ease,’ said the City’s Mayoral Committee Member for Corporate Services, Alderman Theresa Uys.
